The Noorani Learning Center is dedicated to teaching how to read and properly pronounce Arabic which is the language of the Qur\u2019an as well\u00a0as other classical Arabic texts renowned for their beauty.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\nHas a linguistic focus and does not teach philosophy. The learning center v<\/span>alues quality education and good character.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\nInstruction is based on the\u00a0Al Qawaid An Nooraniyah<\/em><\/span>\u00a0(“Noorani”) program, which teaches reading, proper pronunciation, and the art of recitation using the spell-reading method of language acquisition.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\nAll learning center teachers and teacher assistants are under training by Sheikh Muhammad ar Raee.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\nSheikh ar Ra’ee is a world-renowned reciter of the Qur’an, tajweed teacher, Qur’an competition judge, and expert on the Noorani program. \u00a0He is the grandson of Sheikh Noor, who authored the book of the Noorani program. He has taught tajweed and recitation for over 25 years. He holds over 5 ijaazahs (certifications) with authentic chains of transmission traced back to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\nSome of Sheikh ar Raee’s teachers include: Sheikh Hudhaify, Ibraheem Al Akhdar, Muhammad Tamim Azu’bi (Medina), Fath Muhammad (East Asia), Sayyed Laasheen, Abdur Rasheed ar Ra’ee, Ahmad Ahmad Saeed, Muhammad Ahmed Ma’bad, Abdur Rahim al ‘Ilmi (student of Sheikh Ahmad Zayyaat of Egypt), and Sheikh Abdul Aziz Oyuun as Sood through Sheikh Muhammad Tamim az Zu’bi (Shaam).<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\nMany of Sheikh ar Raee’s students rank in the top 10 in international Qur’anic recitation competitions. One student in particular, Sheikh Abdullah Awadh al Juhany, is currently Imam at the Masjid al Haram (Ka’ba) in Makkah.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
